Bloom Pilates is the best investment I have ever made for my health and well being. I am turning 70 this year and I will never give this up. The classes are very small and actually fun! Amanda, owner and instructor extraordinaire, is like having my own personal trainer. She makes sure you are using proper technique throughout each class. It is easy to learn how to use the Reformer which is a wonderful tool to help me exercise and not hurt myself. I highly recommend Amanda and Bloom Pilates!!

Bloom Pilates is a great place to “grow” in your strength, flexibility, and confidence. Owner and teacher Amanda Wilhoit keeps the classes small so she can carefully observe and correct movements, which keeps her students safe and on target with their fitness goals. With just the right amount of motivation and encouragement, each of Amanda’s classes are not only a great workout, but also a fun place to be! I am very happy to share my respect and admiration for Amanda Wilhoit, whose newest endeavor, Bloom Pilates, is destined for success. I have known and benefited from Amanda’s skills for ten years. She is eminently qualified to train her clients in her chosen field of Pilates and she does just that in a peaceful and calm setting. I enthusiastically recommend Amanda and Bloom Pilates.  Amanda is kind and patient with cranky girls like me who know Pilates is really good for you, but we still moan and groan.  She is very considerate of her clients with joint problems and injuries.

I started Pilates to increase core strength and hopefully alleviate chronic neck issues. I have been tremendously pleased with positive results in both areas, as well as increased flexibility. Amanda is a patient and attentive instructor who is careful to be sure each member of the class has a session tailored to his or her needs, from beginner to advanced levels of ability. Classes are not only good exercise but also a lot of fun. Five stars!

I love coming to Pilates!!  I was a long time runner and also did resistance training with weights.  Due to back issues, I had to stop everything.  Pilates was recommended to me by a physical therapist.  With the focus on strengthening my core, I am able to exercise without pain or injury. I have been so happy to learn that Pilates is an awesome total body exercise.  Amanda is an amazing teacher… focusing on each person’s individual needs and adjusting their workout accordingly.  This makes it a great exercise for all ages and physical ability.  The studio is a great place to escape for an hour of fun while working out.

Amanda is the best at what she does. She’s very kind and patient, and you will definitely get the BEST workout. Sometimes I do private sessions, and sometimes I have a partner (semi-private). My private sessions are especially effective for me – her voice is right with me, outlining the next move even as I finish the current one. Highly recommend taking Pilates with Amanda!

Approximately ten years ago my orthopedic doctor suggested that I sign up for a Pilates course. My doctor thought it would be good for strengthening my back. Since I was around 75 years old at that point in time, I decided to sign up for private classes instead of group classes, two times a week. Almost all of my time has been spent working with Amanda, who is now the owner of this studio. The benefits I receive are as follows: Improved posture, improved balance, leg strengthening, improved attitude, and my energy level went way up.
